The Sorrowful Mysteries
(Said on Tuesdays, Fridays, and daily from Ash Wednesday until Easter Sunday)
1st - 2nd - 3rd - 4th - 5th GO BACK TO ROSARY
July 13th 1917, the Madonna, after having submitted the secret to the children, suggested this:
— When you recite the Rosary, say at the end of every ten: «O my Jesus, forgive our faults; preserve us from the fire of the hell; bring in sky all the souls, and especially assist the neediest (of your mercy)».
«Especially assist the neediest of your mercy»: here is the correct way to face the evil that is in the world. That "assist" it is the prayer for the souls that live and express them with their body in the world. The whole prayer asks the deepest help, intimate, for who lives in this world.
Jesus Christ has practiced his mercy recovering the evil of the soul, chiefly forgiving the sins and inducing the souls to conversion; he has recovered the evil of the body making miracles, so that we see that no evil has to be considered definitive for a person.
If He has accepted to suffer and to die as it has happened, it is so that the men are less sinners and more myths, so that they don't make to suffer their fellow men.
To imitate Him, is not necessary that we repeat on us those sufferings, however it is necessary that we have darling Him more than any creature. In such way we participate in his worth, we get advantage from his actions and from his words.
Who is now more needy of the mercy of Jesus Christ?
Certainly who suffers; but above all who makes the evil. Who make more evil, taking the greatest bad decisions in the world, he has more need of mercy.

It comes for Jesus Christ the time when his Father asks him to accept until after all the situation in which the human nature is fallen.

this moment in which Jesus has also been afraid, but he has always been turned to his Father. |
I pray
with Jesus Christ, thinking about the painful situations that I know or I live. |

to surrender me to the Father together with the Son, even if it seems that He is far, because it is Him that it knows and it sustains the whole reality in his Charity. |

In the second sorrowful mystery, let us contemplate: |
"The Scourging at the Pillar" |
John 19,1, Matthew 27,26 and Mark 15,15. |
Jesus Christ is hurt and humiliated in the body, but in his attitude we see that this doesn't remove from him his true dignity. Neither he stops caring for the men.

In the third sorrowful mystery, let us contemplate: |
"The Crowning with Thorns" |
John 19,2-3, Matthew 27,27-31 and Mark 15,16-20. |
They also want to remove from Jesus his dignity of King, but this serves to make to understand more clearly what kingdom is his.
The fact: crown of thorns as symbol of his royalty
To the king of the lie Jesus answers so |
I contemplate...
Jesus Christ that it is true King in a such situation. |
I pray
asking to Mary to make me recognize the Kingdom of God already present in the world, while I am remembering that «the prince of this world», the devil, «has been judged» (John 16,11). |
I decide...
to be more vigilante, so that not to lose any occasion to work in the Kingdom of God. |

Jesus, wounded, without strengths, humiliated, uses the strengths that him remain for bringing his cross, so that we know how to bring ours one

this difficult moment in which Jesus labors for then being crucifix. |
I pray
with trust in the Heart of Jesus and Mary because the Mother suffered with her Child to lift us from every evil. |
I decide...
to offer some sacrifice to unite me to the sacrifice of Jesus and the suffering of Mary, so that I have more strength and wisdom to avoid the sin. |

The death of Jesus Christ is already victory on satan and on the sin. It is already sign of eternal life for who submits to the Lord

The fact: the Son of God will have to suffer
It is by now night, the "Thursday" 2 April year 33.
God's Child, Jesus, lived thirty three man years, spoken and acts as such.
Now the disciples of Jesus are witnesses of a fact of universal course.
All they have suffered the men from the beginning and they will actually suffer at the end introduces it in front of Jesus, to strike him up to the most defamatory death.

His Father only support
He talks to his Father: «Father, if you want, it estranges from me this calyx...».
The whole evil that has been made by the men since the beginning and that will be make up to the end it attacks Jesus with the thin and powerful temptation of the devil, that introduces him the defeat of that he has said and made.
Jesus Christ turns him only to his Father: «... Nevertheless is not done mine but your wish».

The sufferings and the salvation of the creatures
St. Paul announced the return of Jesus Christ as king, for the "thousand year kingdom" that is remembered in the Apocalypse.
In the Letter to the Romans he explains what salvation we have to attend, already here on the Earth somehow.
Salvation will be full in the Heaven, but it is time that we acknowledge what the God already realized in this world, as Jesus Christ had said. Let's not complain of Him, if we don't pick up "the Martyrs' blood", or rather the testimonies of whom has seen Jesus and of whom has been protagonist of the facts that he prophesied. It takes caution in these matters, but this search won't make evil.
«And if thus Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, then the Spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of the One who raised our Lord Jesus Christ from the grave, resides in you, he that raised Jesus Christ from the grave, shall also (on the Earth) make your deadly bodies live, because of the Spirit that resides in you.
In fact I reckon that the sorrows of this age are nothing compared with the glory which is destined to be revealed through us.
In fact the creation attends with impatience (in this world) the revelation of the children of God; the creation herself is subdued to the emptiness, not by its own will, but for the sake of the one who (the devil that tempted Adam and Eve) subdued her, in the hope that the creation herself may be freed from slavery of the corruption, toward the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
We know well that all the creation together groans and suffers in the pains of the birth;
and not she only, but we also, as we have the early fruit of the Spirit, we groan deep in our soul waiting our adoption as children, for the redemption of our bodies.
Thus also the same Spirit comes in help to our weakness, because we don't even know what is convenient to ask for, but the same Spirit intercedes with insistence for us, with inexpressible moans; and he who scrutinize the hearts knows what the desires of the Spirit are, since he intercedes for the believers according to the plans of God.
After all, we know that all converges to the good of those people that love God, that have been called according to his intention.
I am in fact convinced that neither death nor life, angels neither principalities, present neither future, nor powers, height neither depth, nor some other creature can ever separate us from the love of God, in Christ Jesus, our Lord».

The fact: Jesus in the hands of whose want to kill him
It is the morning 3 April AD 33. The High Priests and the Jewish leaders have made to bring Jesus in front of the Praetory, to get that the governor Pontius Pilate condemns him to the death of cross.

Body, soul and divinity of Jesus
As every person in condition of superiority, that wants to put out game another person, Pilate makes to strike the body of Jesus.
He doesn't realize that is his own soul to decide and to act. It doesn't realize to have whether to do with the soul of Jesus, so much less with his divinity.

The fact: crown of thorns as symbol of his royalty
During that forenoon Jesus, left in the hands of the soldiers, he is derided. Its dignity of King of the Jews, that is of Messiah, is humiliated.

To the king of the lie Jesus answers so
The souls of Pilate, of the soldiers and of the servants become tool of the wish of the devil, but, at the same time, of the Father. Jesus Christ is not a king with the gold crown, with the army, with his coin; it is instead the king of the truth that no king of the Earth can defeat. They set him on the head a crown of sneer and painful; they put him in hand a scepter without value. His Father grants this price of ransom to the power of Satan.
The suffering that touches everyone of us depends on the nature, on the fellow men, on the will of the devil, but it is, at the same time, wish of the Father, that however doesn't leave not even a hair of our head go lost, that holds in its hands our soul and reserves us life without end.

The fact: Jesus brings his gibbet
The cross is a heavy sign but Jesus, despite everything, bring her.
He, in the preceding months, had said: «Who don't bring her own cross and who doesn't come behind me he cannot be my disciple» (Luke 14,27).

The strength for us
Who wants to follow Jesus Christ and bring - doesn't try to discharge it - what for him is the greatest sentence in the life, it receives the strength to follow so the Teacher. He succeeds in sustaining the weight of the proper one "cross" that it becomes, rather, a tool of new life.

Fatima and the tree of the life
The cross was one of the worse tools of death sentence. Jesus is turning her into the tree of the life, as the three shepherd children of Fatima have seen her in the symbolic vision that belongs to the secret.
t is year 2 B.C.
It is spring, around March 25.
Mary is a fourteen year-old girl, she lives to Nazareth and she is getting through the housework.
It respectfully enters to her house the angel Gabriel, turning her an unusual regard. She are not aware of the grace that possesses since her conception. But the angel puts Mary in contact with the world of God and he announces her that she will have a child, even if she «doesn't know man».
We are contemplating a historical fact, certified by Luke and reported with further details from Matthew. We don't try to explain how it is been able to happen, because «nothing is impossible to God». It is the fact that changes forever the history of the men, because they won't have to look for God anymore, they will have only to draw near to him, become fruit of conception.

The fact: the cross, Jesus and Mary
The death of Jesus Christ has been tragic; but nothing of that death has gone lost, nothing is ended in the vice of Satan. Jesus himself has maintained in his hands every moment of that events; then he submitted him to his Father. The souls of the ones wanted him dead have not even gone lost, because Jesus has asked for forgiveness his Father for them.
And Mary was there.

Nothing goes lost...
So it happens apiece of us: Jesus Christ and his Father, through the Holy Spirit, maintains in their hands every moment of our death and «it doesn't go lost not even a hair of our head» (Luke 12,7; 21,18).
We can be sure of it, because the words and the gestures of Jesus have authentically been testified by the evangelists.

The Paradise
Now the death, that of Jesus Christ as example for ours, is the preparation to the resurrection, for a life in the «Garden» of God, that is in the Paradise: life without end.

The Shroud
Since probabilities are a lot of that the Shroud shows us really the image of Jesus, we have also of him an immediate visual testimony. We don't have to believe "to the Shroud" but, if the Shroud is a testimony, we can believe "to the realities to which the Shroud makes testimony."
