The miracle of the sun also made news on the press in that days of October 1917, but it touched above all the 70.000 people (and many were atheistic convinced) that were protagonists of it. It was the palpable confirmation of what the children of Fatima said to have seen and hearing. The apparitions of Fatima are historical facts, testified by a lot of people: they are true for everybody, also for the one that doesn't have the faith in Jesus Christ and in Mary. The Catholic Church specifies that the apparitions, as that of Fatima, are private revelations in which we are not forced to believe, because it is necessary to believe only in the public revelation, particularly to what Jesus said and done twenty centuries ago. These are the extraordinary facts achieved once and for all by God. A believer that makes memory of Christ feels discreet and continuous the presence of the Holy Spirit that, according to the words of Jesus, «he takes of mine and he will expose it to you». The Holy Spirit takes from the facts of Jesus and from the facts what happen every day and he exposes in the daily reality things of Jesus and things of the Father. But undoubtedly these long twenty centuries, spent by the first arrival of Jesus Christ, make us desire that something of extraordinary happens today also. There is in fact a depth need «to see again» the historical Jesus and what He has achieved two thousand years ago. God had already done 2000 years ago all what needed, but our ingratitude never knows to see it in the way adequate to the times and we don't adequately answer in concrete way. And here the Madonna has met the comprehensible desires, in amazing way. She has not promised great prodigies; instead she has invited to rediscover the testimonies accumulated in twenty centuries, with a little gratitude for what her Child has done and said. To Fatima God, in Three Equal and Distinct Persons, has remembered us the facts of 2000 years ago and he has approached them to the facts of our time, through the female testimony of a Lady about 15 years old and of her Immaculate Heart. All what God has already done are renewed in the simple events of Fatima. The charity of the Father, of the Holy Spirit and of Jesus shine, the protection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary shine. Without intervening in extraordinary way, because the Earth continue to work with the laws of the creation and she proceeds among the good works of whom follows the street of the good and the bad works of the devil and of whom falls in his temptation. But in the natural continuity, God and Mary liberate us from the rebellion, so much from the swearword, because their mercy doesn't allow to go «lost not even a hair» of whom entrust to them. It seems therefore that the Sky has held necessary to intervene to Fatima in the most direct way and that this is enough, today, to concretely renew the salvation purposes of Jesus Christ. An intervention of the Heaven is never a meaningless attempt and doesn't pass without getting what He established. More than eighty years are passed but, if the secret has remained such up to 2000, it is because this one was the opportune moment. In the meantime they have come true the disastrous facts that Mary had preannounced, «if they won't stop offending God», «to punish the world for its crimes, through the war, the hunger and the persecutions to the Church and to the Holy Father». She have not spoken about any natural disaster, but only about immense misdeeds committed by the men that offend God. She has not even promised great divine interventions: instead she has asked to the people to make simple things, normal for the believers. The only strong request is «to pick up the blood of the martyrs», so much strong that it had to pass in the world all those sufferings before it was possible to understand it. And the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, that have wanted to begin their merciful purposes in 1916, will certainly perform them. Announcement of refreshing rain In the 1916 spring, to the three children of Fatima, he appeared for the first time «the angel of the Peace». He taught them to pray this way: «My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You. I ask you pardon for those that don't believe, don't adore, don't hope and don't love You». Then he turned him into a white cloudlet that climbed toward the mountains. The cloudlet is a refreshing sign, an announcement of the mercy of God: «… (Elias) told his boy: "Come here, look toward the sea». He went, he looked and he said. "There it is nothing!". Elias said: "Return there still for seven times". The seventh time reported: "Here, a cloudlet as a hand of man, salt from the sea". Elias told him: "Go to say to Akab: Attach the horses to the cart and go down so that the rain doesn't catch you!". The sky immediately darkened him for the clouds and for the wind; the rain fell excessively. Akab climbed on on the cart and he went to Izreel. The hand of the Lord was above Elias that, encircled him the sides, raced before to Akab until he reached Izreel». 1 Kings 18,43-46 Elias was at that time on the Carmel mountain, in Israel, and the devotion of the Carmel is inspired to this fact. In the last apparition of the Madonna of the Rosary, October 13th 1917, Lucia also saw the Madonna as Our Lady of the Carmel. The angel when had appeared for the second time to the three children, all of a sudden, had said: «What you do? Pray, pray a lot. The holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary have on you merciful purposes. Constantly offer, to the Most High, prayers and sacrifices».
Mary herself, appeared with a very younger age than what she had when she died and certainly very more beautiful than she was in her terrestrial life, remember us that she is risen, she remember us the resurrection of Jesus and all the events reported in the Gospels, that seemed us too distant and few concrete for our life. The first sign of mercy is the same apparition. An Angel and Mary are made to see to the humanity through the eyes and the soul of three children. The risen Madonna is just the sign that the resurrection is a reality. The Heaven grants us to see in its glory the second risen person, because Jesus will come in his glory to conclude the centuries, not before.
Mary has remembered what is necessary to know about God, about the world and the life, using words and images that could also the children understand. The apparitions of Fatima have waked up again simple safeties as that, what we didn't even imagine, that there is a custodian angel for every nation. The message of Mary is addressed to the souls It is not hard understand what it is the soul of a person. When we tell: «I think, I decide, I alive, I feel», she is our soul who tells "I" and that he could complete these actions. The soul is the person herself that, on the Earth, always expresses herself through the body. It is not the case than reason too about these matters, but than get us like Mary, who has always addressed to the souls living in the body on the Earth. Jesus himself was continually addressed to the souls (Luke 12,4), for produce salvation also to the body, for valorize him. She's our soul which allows us to communicate to the soul of the others the thoughts, the feelings and the decisions. That one also permits to us to "perceive" with certainty what the three children of Fatima have seen, because they have told all with precision. The souls living on the Earth, "seeing" the supernatural beauty of Mary receives light and safety. Whether the human science has conquered much possibility in order to the body, the actions and the words of Mary, doing echo to Jesus Christ, they reveal the possibilities of the soul and they reinvigorate her. But each good received from the soul reassures the body too and attributes a taller value to the benefits of the science. Only she, in our time, will help us, chiefly if we recite the Rosary. The inspirations that have received Lucy and the Popes have made delay the publication of the third part of Fatima secret until 13 May 2000, when any remarkable facts had happened. And here the third secret part tells us something of completely unexpected. We discover that it is the key for understand all the «secret» and the object of the apparitions themselves. To the prayer, to the sacrifice, to the share to the Sacraments, it adds a practical engagement because the mercy of God ends. Now we know how immediately put us, responsibly, to the work in the reality of the world.
«The hearts of Jesus and Mary have on you merciful purposes», he has said the angel; and he has asked to pray, to make sacrifices and to participate in the Eucharist. It seems that he has forgotten an aspect on which today he insists a lot, the listening of the word of God. «God's word» and «Jesus' Christ testimony», two expressions used by the Apocalypse, they are proper for to point out the Ancient one and the New Testament. It is true: the angel has not recommended to listen and to read the word of God; nevertheless what has happened to Fatima it refers to the whole Bible, from the beginning at the end, in unusual way. Rather, while us Christians we say that the center of the whole Bible is the life and the work of Jesus Christ - chiefly its Cross that is the tree of the life -, these apparitions, together with those ones of La Salette and of Lourdes, strike us showing us how the figure of Mary gives the simplest and advantageous meaning to the Ancient and the New Testament.
Like in the chapter 3 of the Genesis, God set the cherubs to east of the terrestrial Paradise, thus in our times «the fire sword in the left hand» of the Angel seems to want to hold the entire world far from the tree of the life. But it will be the light «that emanates from the right hand of Mary» to realize for our time anything of the mercy that is promised from God in the entire Bible. The right hand of the Queen of the Rosary represents the people - soul and body -, that are fond of Jesus Christ and Mary.
Mary, showing to three children the vision of the «big city half in ruin», she alluded to the image that concludes the Bible Christian: the «new holy city Jerusalem». Now the «city», in the minds and in the hearts, she is «half in ruin», because few people desire to see her realized in some measure in the world. Thus a true bulwark of defense fail for the men and, that's why, many people suffers and is private of the dignity of person, like if they don't have a soul.
But, in a time so devoid of truth, God has disposed that its mercy passes through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The «Heart» represents the whole person of Mary, her figure, her words, the actions that she has made in the apparitions. It seems impossible, today, to make a synthesis of the human know or to find a center of reference for the whole society of the men, because there is need of a heart, not of ideas or of a power. Mary has asked the devotion and the consecration to her Immaculate Heart because of such a Heart has need the reality of the world: a Heart that cannot be stopped by the men and that is able of to make to pulsate every terrestrial reality. Its Heart drives us toward Jesus in the simplest way and, with the same simplicity, it makes us see how Jesus Christ takes care of everyone of us starting from the children. This is a concrete gift of the apparitions of Fatima. And how to welcome who has different culture and religion than ours? The apparitions of Fatima have symbolically involved places and people that concern religions and different cultures. That one suggests us to welcome the people in the name of Mary! Its Heart inspires us how to have dear every human being, as it is. It is Immaculate Heart and it doesn't surrender us to the confusion, it doesn't allow us «to divert neither to the right neither to the left». The "martyrs" of the events of 2000 years ago
In what way the mercy will come true? Mary, by the symbols of the Secret, has invited us to pick up, with «sprinklers of crystal», the «blood of the martyrs». Indeed the Heaven has spoken and has simply repeated what the Church tells, for the desire bears in us of put us to reconstruct the «city» and for we correspond to the merciful plans of the Jesus' and Mary's hearts.
