JESUS MULTIPLIES THE BREADS AND THE FISHES

Matt 14

[3] Herod has halted John and he had made him chain and throw in jail for cause of Herodiad, wife of Phillip his brother. [4]John in fact told him: «It is not you permissible hold her!». [5]Though Herod wants to do him die, he feared the people who considered him a prophet.

[6]Arrived the birthday of Herod, the daughter of Herodiad danced in public and she was pleasing so much to Herod [7]that he promised her with oath to give her all what she has asked. [8]And she, instigated by the mother, told: «Give me here, on a tray, the head of John the Baptist».

[9]The king, grieved also, for the oath and the table companion ordered that it was given her [10]and he sent to behead John in the jail. [11]His head was brought on a tray and was given to the young girl, and she brought it her mother.

Luke 9

[7]Meanwhile the tetrarch Herod felt to speak of all these events (that is of what they made Jesus and its disciples) and he didn't know whether to think, for the fact that somebody said: «John is resuscitated from the corpses», [8]others: «Elias has appeared», and other yet: «One are risen of the ancient prophets».
[9]Herod then said: «John I have made him behead me; who is therefore he, of which I feel say such a things?». And he tried to see him.

Matt 14

[12]His disciples went to take the dead body (of the Baptist), they buried him and they went to inform Jesus of it.

Luke 9

[10a]At their return, the apostles told him (Jesus) what they had done.

John 6

[1]After these facts, Jesus went beyond the sea of Galilee, that is of Tiberiade.

Luke 9

[10b]Then he picked them up with himself and he withdrew apart him toward a city called Bethsaida.

[11a]But the crowds knew it and they followed him.

Mark

[33]Many however saw them depart and they understood, and from all the cities they started to hasten afoot there and them preceded.

[11b]He welcomed them and takings to speak to them of the kingdom of God and to recover how much they needed cares.

John 6

[2]And a great crowd followed him seeing the signs that it did on the invalids. [3]Jesus climbed on the mountain and there was set to sit with his disciples. [4]It was near the Passover, the holiday of the Jews.

Luke 9

12a] The day started to decline.

John 6

(The dialogue that follows doesn't have an unique thread: it shows all the speak that the disciples did) [5]Therefore Jesus lifted the eyes, and having seen that a great crowd goes press to him, he tells Phillip: «Where we can buy the bread so that the people have to eat?». [6]He said this way for trying him; in fact he knew well what was about to do.

Luke 9

[12b]The Twelve drew near him and they told him: «Dismiss the crowd, so that scatters around in the villages and in the countries to find food, since here we are in a desert zone». [13a]But he told them: «Give yourselves to eat to them».

John 6

[7]Philip responded him: «Two hundred moneys of bread are not even enough so that each one can receive a piece of it». [8]He tells then him one of the disciples, Andrew, brother of Simon Peter: [9]«There is here a boy that has five breads of barley and two fishes; but what is this for so much people?».

Luke 9

[13b]They responded: «We don't have but five breads and two fishes, unless we go to buy provisions for all this people».

John 6

[10]Jesus answered: «Do you them to sit». There was a lot of grass in that place. They sat therefore and they was around five thousand men.

Luke 9

[14]There were in fact around five thousand men. He told his disciples: «Do you them to sit for groups of fifty around». [15]So they did and they made to sit all how much. [16]Then he picked up the five breads and the two fishes and, raised the eyes to the sky, he blessed them, he broke them and he gave them to the disciples so that they distributed them to the crowd.

John 6

[11]Then Jesus took the breads and, after having rendered thanks, he distributed them to those were sat, and the same thing made of the fishes, until they wanted of it.

[12]And when they were satiated, it tells the disciples: «Pick up the advanced pieces, so that nothing goes lost».

Luke 9

[17]Everybody ate and they satiated them and of their advanced parts twelve baskets were brought away.

John 6

[13]They picked up them and they filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five breads of barley, advanced to those people whom had eaten. [14]Then the men, considering the sign that he had did, they said: «These is indeed the prophet that has to come in the world!».

Mark 6

[45]He ordered then to the disciples to go on board the boat and to precede him toward the other shore, in front of Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.

John 6

[15]But Jesus, having known that «they are about to come to abduct him to do him king», withdrew again him on the mountain, all alone.

Mark 6

[46]And after being him separate from them, it withdrew him on the mountain to pray.

John 6

[16]Come meanwhile the evening, his disciples went down to the sea [17]and, gone on board a boat, they advanced toward the other shore in direction of Capharnaum. It had come by now dark, Jesus had not come to them yet, [18]and the sea had shaken because it blew a strong wind.

Matt 14

[24] The boat meanwhile was already far many stadiums from earth and it had shaken from the waves because of the contrary wind.

John 6
[19]After having rowed around twenty-five or thirty stadiums, they saw Jesus that walked on the sea and drew near to the boat, and they were afraid.

Matt 14

[25]To the fourth turn of watch of the night he came verse of them walking on the sea. [26]The disciples, to see to walk him/it on the sea, was disturbed and they said: «It is a ghost» and they started shouting from the fear. [27]But Jesus immediately spoke to them: «Courage, is me, you are not afraid».

John 6

[20] but he tells them: «I am me, you don't fear».

Mt 14
[28]Peter answered him: «My Lord, if you are you, command that I come near of you on the waters». [29]And he said: «Come!».

Peter, going down from the boat, started walking on the waters and he went near Jesus. [30]But seeing the violence of the wind, he frightened and, starting to sink, he shouted: «My Lord, save me!». [31]And Jesus immediately stretched the hand, he grabbed him and he told him: «O few confident, because have you hesitated?». [32]Gone they on board the boat, did the wind stop. [33]Those that were on the boat prostrated them ahead of him, exclaiming: «You are indeed Child of God!».

Gv 6

[21]Then they wanted to pick him up on the boat and quickly the boat touched the shore to which they were direct.
